Woman loses chance to become millionaire after washing winning ticket in washing machine

A California woman has a chance to become a millionaire after washing the winning ticket in a washing machine.

The winner of the SuperLotto Plus draw got a chance to claim the prize money, but no one walked

away with the money. Apparently, the winning store ticket was sold at Arco 24/7 in Los Angeles.

Hernandez, an employee of the store, later told the media that the buyer came to them not long ago

and told her that she had put her lottery ticket in her trouser pocket, and bought it at the laundry, and she had forgotten about the ticket.

The woman could become the owner of 26 million dollars. The store manager confirmed that the footage shows the woman buying the ticket.

The video has since been sent to California Lottery officials. Meanwhile, Cathy Johnston, representative of the lottery, assured that they will investigate the matter.

Officials explained that people who believe they have won the lottery must fill out a special form.

They are also asked to provide proof, such as a photograph, in case they suddenly lose or wash their lottery ticket.
