Marie Osmond, 64, completes an important life goal from her ‘bucket list’

The ‘everything that when you’re under contract, you really can’t do’ bucket list item was recently crossed off by Marie Osmond.

Although the action wasn’t as daring as the airplane jump she did the previous year, it nevertheless had the potential to cause some worry.

The singer and actress may now add ‘soap opera star’ to her list of accomplishments. On October 27, The Bold and The Beautiful will air her eagerly anticipated premiere.

Osmond, 64, had a 2011 soap opera appearance planned, but her residency with her brother Donny Osmond in Las Vegas made it problematic.

When their residency came to a close in 2019, however, Osmond made a bucket list that included things she would

not have been able to achieve while still employed. Skydiving, ascending Mount Sinai, and making an appearance in a soap opera were a few of them.

Osmond can cross the item ‘appear on a soap opera’ off her bucket list after four years.
Osmond will portray the affluent Countess Von Frankfurt, who she claims has ‘a little ‘tude going.’

‘Let’s just say that she is special. I liked that I had never portrayed a character like that before. My favorite. She was entertaining, and you can just channel a few individuals here and there.

Osmond has had a long career that spans music and theater, but she wasn’t ready for the level of work ethic she saw on The Bold and The Beautiful set.

These people, she added, ‘get 25 pages to memorize in a day and have to do it right when they get it, and their hours are insane.’

‘I began at five in the morning and finished at eleven. I’m certain that this was unique merely by virtue of being.

However, they put forth a lot of effort, and I just had two days to learn, figure out, and memorize everything.

Despite some parallels, Osmond claimed that working on a soap opera was very different than working on a movie set.

‘When you’re doing film, you could spend all day doing two pages or four pages—that’s ambitious—and you shoot it over and over,

this angle and that angle,’ says Osmond. ‘On a soap opera, you only get one chance. If you receive two,

you’re fortunate. You must therefore arrive prepared straight away with your attitude, appearance, and backstory. It moves quickly. That quick.
