Adele Is Overcome With Tears As She Sees Her Former Teacher And Inspiration From Her Childhood

During an ITV special, English pop sensation Adele shared a heartfelt reunion on stage with her childhood

idol and old English instructor. The celebrity, who was unaware that Ms. McDonald would soon make an appearance,

gave her admiration for the teacher’s explanation: ‘She was so bloody cool, so engaging.’ We could tell she cared about us because she truly made us care.’

Then, as Ms. McDonald approached the stage, the host gave a clue that something extraordinary was going to happen, and Adele began to look around.

Adele’s expression of joy, astonishment, and passion upon seeing her childhood instructor says it all.

Onstage, the two exchanged hugs before Adele sobbed in joy at the surprise reunion. The video is seen below.

Adele claimed that Ms. McDonald, her seventh-grade teacher for a year, ‘got me really into literature’ before the big reveal.

I’ve always had a fascination with English, and I clearly create lyrics now. She was so likeable and accessible that I eagerly anticipated my English classes.

Adele was addressed by Ms. McDonald with the words ‘Oh my God, I’m so proud of you.’ After that, Adele inquired about her and said,

‘Oh, you look exactly the same!’ which made the audience chuckle. Next, the vocalist declared, ‘You really did change my life.’

On the special An Audience With Adele, where the singer also gave a live performance, Ms. McDonald made an appearance. Her performance of ‘Rolling in the Deep’ live from the event is seen here.

Adele asked Ms. McDonald after the reunion if she could receive her information from the producers so they could talk later, and the instructor gladly obliged.

The singer broke down in tears and had to get her makeup corrected. She invited the comedian Alan Carr to step in for her for a bit, and before Adele continued the concert,

Carr made the audience laugh by singing an improvised rendition of ‘Make You Feel My Love’ that was completely out of tune.
