Olivia Newton-John, one of the world’s biggest stars, passed away on August 8, 2022. She was an Australian-British entertainer most recognized for her activism, singing, and acting roles.

Over her life, the celebrated woman received numerous honors and accolades from both critics and fans.

One of the relatives she left behind was her niece Totti Goldsmith, who disclosed the details of her final chat with her famous aunt just a few days prior to her demise.

Born in England on September 26, 1948, Newton-John relocated to Australia with her family when she was six years old.

Although she had a head start in singing, she would become a sensation when she was paired with John Travolta in the 1978 musical “Grease.”

With her portrayal as a naive Australian student who is infatuated with Travolta’s Danny Zuko, Newton-John showcased her amazing acting skills and lovely yet strong voice,

which propelled her to stardom and made her a household name. People are still dressed up as Danny and Sandy for costume parties and belting out songs from the ‘Grease’ soundtrack today.

Even though ‘Xanadu,’ her follow-up movie, didn’t become as successful as ‘Grease,’ it was a life-changing experience for her.

Melbourne, Australia-based actress and singer Goldsmith, her niece, told 9Now that the family had been planning to make her last days comfortable.

‘We’ve known how sick she’s been, especially the last five days, so it’s not shocking,’ she remarked.

‘John (Easterling) her husband, has kept us in the loop and I’ve been talking to the beautiful Chloe a lot.’

Newton-John looked for opportunities to give back to the community after she had been fighting cancer for a while.

Using her position to raise awareness and establish treatment and research facilities, Newton-John had developed into a passionate supporter of cancer research.

When the actress originally revealed that she had cancer in 1992, she had displayed a similar level of hope.

She said in a statement, ‘I draw strength from the millions of women who have faced this challenge successfully,’ according to PEOPLE.

‘I urge other women to follow suit as I had regular exams, which allowed for the early detection of this.’

John Easterling announced the tragic news of Newton-John’s passing on Instagram on August 8, 2022, using her page.

He clarified that before she passed away, she was ‘surrounded by family and friends.’He went on:

The Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, which is devoted to cancer research and plant medicine, carries on her pioneering expertise and therapeutic inspiration with plant medicine.

Chloe, Newton-John’s only daughter, will undoubtedly carry on her legacy. Chloe has pursued acting and music careers, following in the footsteps of her well-known mother.

The mother and daughter’s strong relationship inspired them to work together on the song ‘Window in the Wall’ in 2021.

On August 9, 2022, Chloe posted a behind-the-scenes video of the couple recording the duet on Instagram following the death of her mother.

In the video, the devoted couple could be seen repeatedly hugging, laughing, and smiling.
Mama, you are my guiding light. my secure haven. My heart space,’ the caption for Chloe said.

In an interview with TODAY in February 2023, Chloe discussed the legacy of her mother. She also went into much depth regarding her dying days and her final remarks.

‘My sunshine,’ was the last thing she could say to me,’ Chloe remarked. ‘And she was cracking jokes just before she lost her ability to speak.’

‘I love my mom more than anything,’ Chloe continued. You know, she’s my mama. Although she doesn’t seem like Olivia Newton-John to me, I’m delighted that she did for a lot of other people.

It was clear that Newton-John was well-liked by the public, and her followers were instrumental in assisting Chloe in processing her mother’s death. In actuality, it served as a life raft.

It’s seemed like the cosmos is giving her a great embrace,’ she remarked. ‘And I sincerely appreciate everyone who contacted us, opening their hearts and connecting with us.’

Despite her passing, Newton-John’s legacy is evidently still alive, particularly in relation to her daughter.

Chloe clarified that she had discussed Newton-John’s return after her death and that the two had watched paranormal shows together.

‘When we watched these paranormal shows, I would tell her, ‘You have to come see me.’’ ‘I’ll appear as one of those orb things,’ she said.

Easterling had mentioned seeing the blue sphere as well. ‘I took a picture, and this blue orb is right between my eyes,’ claimed the man. ‘It’s been a supernatural year.’

After giving Newton-John’s enduring legacy more thought, Chloe declared that she saw “nothing but love and light and giving and good” in Newton-John.

‘Therefore, in my opinion, it means ending cancer completely and helping anyone who is experiencing it,’

she went on. preserving her spirit and her dream. It also entails paying tribute to my mother’s path.’
