The TV icon Matthew Perry passed away, and the entertainment world is in grief.

The 54-year-old, who gained popularity in the 1990s blockbuster television series Friends as Chandler Bing,

was discovered dead at his Los Angeles home yesterday after appearing to have drowned.

The star reportedly played pickleball for two hours before leaving for his house. After that, he dispatched

his assistant on an errand, and when she came back two hours later, Perry was still unconscious in his jacuzzi.

TMZ broke the initial news of the star’s passing, stating that emergency personnel had been called to Perry’s house in response to a report of a cardiac arrest.

Although there were no narcotics discovered at the site and no indications of foul play by the authorities, the actor had struggled with drug addiction and drinking throughout his life.

The cause of Perry’s death is currently being looked into, but naturally, there are doubts on the internet about whether or not it had anything to do with his well-known problems from the past.

As previously mentioned, Perry was apparently playing pickleball the day he passed away. A friend who went with him now claims to have seen a warning sign a few hours before he did.

In addition, online users have drawn notice to the Friends star’s final Instagram post, which seems to include a very alarming detail.

Perry shared a photo of himself in his jacuzzi on social media six days ago, writing, ‘Oh, so warm water flowing around makes you feel good? Call me Mattman.

There are some macabre parallels being drawn between this and Perry’s alleged unresponsive state when discovered in the jacuzzi.

‘It’s heartbreaking how ironic,’ commented one Twitter user. ‘Goodbye, Matthew Perry, our Chandler Bing for eternity.’

‘OMG, that’s so eerie! Very Depressing! wrote one more.

Perry was very open about his several issues with addiction in his memoir, which was published last year.

After Friends ended, he talked about how much weight he had gained, and he seemed to be making every effort to turn his life around.
