Unfortunately, one area where a lot of individuals knowingly disregard the law is driving faster than the official speed limit. Every day,

hundreds of drivers go over the speed limit; the majority do so without getting a penalty or citation.

One woman, Patti, used her hair dryer to slow down cars near her house, as seen in a YouTube video.

Patti discusses her experience that lead her to sit on the side of the road in a lawn chair, holding

a hair dryer in one hand and a drink in the other, during an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

‘Our road sees a lot of tourists because Glacier National Park is very close by,’ Patti remarked. They go by quickly.

We simply assumed that we would eventually, or at least my son assumed he would give me a hair dryer and put me up on the road while acting like it was a radar gun.

Law enforcement as well as the cars speeding past Patti’s house were drawn in by her funny stunt. Rather than being irate with her, they expressed gratitude for Patti’s efforts.

Patti remarked, ‘The Montana trooper had found out where we lived, tracked me down on social media,

and came down and surprised me.’ ‘I assumed I would run into problems. However, he handed me a small hat and a small badge and said he intended to make me an honored trooper.
