A cardboard house that assembles in a day but will last 100 years …

The Dutch Fiction Factory presented a compact house, the structure of which uses high-strength pressed cardboard.

Such a house can be built in just 24 hours, but it will last for about 100 years.

The cost of innovation is 30 thousand euros. The cabins are still on sale only in some parts of Europe, where queues are already forming.

In Dutch, Wikkelhouse means house-wrap.Each house here is different in shape and size.

Each house is assembled from five to six cardboard modules weighing 500 kg, which are easily

connected to each other with the help of ecological glue. The client himself chooses the necessary size of the apartment.

In addition, Vikkelhouse does not require deep foundations, which makes it easy to install.

According to the development company, the assembly of the house is carried out in just 24 hours by one construction crew.

This is what an eco-wall looks like.

The structure differs in stability and strength. Its total weight is only 3 tons, so no foundation is needed for such a house.

Inside, everything is made of wood and with a waterproof sheet that will protect the house from adverse weather conditions.
