On the well-known show The Voice, artist Lila Forde opened her mouth and started singing ‘Can’t Find My Way Home,’ a different and unexpected kind of beauty that the judges were exposed to.

The four judges were so taken aback by her voice during her audition that they all turned their chairs away in the next few seconds.

After Lila’s audition, Gwen got up from her seat and declared she was ‘freaking fighting right now’

to get Lila to sign with her group. Gwen surrounded the performer with praises while she stood barefoot in the center of the stage.

Gwen declared, ‘This is what the world needs.’ ‘We are looking for a singer-songwriter that has a genuine, distinct point of view.

That shows that you are not attempting to emulate anyone else, and I adore the confidence with which you executed it.

Gwen told Lila that working with her would be a dream come true as she concluded her passionate sales pitch.

However, she added, ‘you’re my ideal voice girl to work with.’ ‘I adore you,’ I cherish you.

Following Gwen, Reba McEntire and John Legend offered the girl their best pitch, praising her vocal style and performance.

Lila was also referred to by Reba as an ‘old soul,’ noting that her musical taste and voice demonstrate that she is ‘mature beyond’ her years.

But ultimately, Gwen’s ‘fighting’ for Lila was in vain. John Legend was chosen as the coach by the girl who had a Joni Mitchell-like voice.
