Jorge, Giorgi Berejiani’s dog, went missing three years ago from his house in Tbilisi, Georgia. He looked high

and low for his closest companion. He kept his faith even when the days turned into months and the months into years.

But in time, his efforts will be rewarded. When nearby firm employees saw a stray that fit Jorge’s description,

they called Giorgi right away. Although the canine was marked as stray by the city, they were positive it was him.

Giorgi ran over to look into it and went up to the dog that was curled up next to the tree. In the video below, you can hear the man yelling the dog’s name.

The dog started crying out in pleasure, and Giorgi instantly recognized it was him.
Three years later,

they were finally reunited. It was evident that they were relieved to be together once more as their emotions were visible.

Giorgi expressed his happiness to The Dodo. “I’ve never seen him look so content.”

In that moment, their wounded souls were healed. It is unknown how the dog managed to survive on the streets

by himself for such a long time, but maybe the hope of one day seeing his master again gave him some sustenance.
