These days, commercials and advertising are evolving to better represent society as a whole.
While some fashion firms have outlawed the practice of photo-editing models, others have employed older models.
That being said, there is still much work to be done.

Because the management of the children’s apparel manufacturer Oshkosh B’Gosh showed no interest in employing her son as a model despite the mother’s submission of images of her son.
Why is it the case? The boy had Down syndrome from birth.

Meagan Nash resides in the US state of Georgia with her family.
When Oshkosh B’Gosh, a children’s apparel manufacturer, announced that they were searching for models, Meagan became enthusiastic and sent in pictures of her 15-month-old son, Asher.
For the demands of the business, the toddler was perfect. In addition to having the perfect hair and eye color, he was also the perfect height.
Meagan sent in pictures of her son, but she never heard back.
In response to Meagan’s inquiry, company personnel said they did not want Asher to be part of their next campaign because they did not want ‘a baby with special needs.’
‘Did they say they weren’t going to cast a baby with special needs?’ The Independent claims that the mother struck back.

Meagan felt annoyed and disappointed.
She knew that not every child could be a role model, but to reject her son for no other reason than that he has an extra chromosome?
Meagan made the decision to act because she wishes the corporation had given it some thought and realized how much Asher might bring them.
In the ‘Kids with Down syndrome’ Facebook page, she posted pictures of her son Asher. Youngsters suffering with Down syndrome
Photographs by Crystal Barbee featuring the incredibly endearing Ashley with a bow tie and blue denim shirt quickly became popular.
Meagan wrote the following to the business that rejected her son: ‘Let’s share and change things so they can see Asher!’
This charming young man is prepared to ‘Change the Face of Beauty’ for the entire globe. Over 100,000 people have liked Asher’s images on Facebook as of the time this article was written.
Not the clothing business, but an agency had rejected her kid, as Meagan noted in her post, ‘We are working
with Changing the Face of Beauty organization and trying to get Oshkosh to use him in their advertisements.’
