The Miss Universe 2023 contest is introducing a revolutionary feature by permitting moms and married women to compete.

The most notable competitor is Miss Colombia 2023 Camila Avella, who is a mother of a husband and child and the first-ever married Miss Universe contestant.

By becoming the first mother to place in the Top 5 of Miss Universe 2023, she has also created history.

Camila suffered a setback in 2018, yet she came back five years later to represent her nation. She got married and started a family during this time.

She now feels better prepared and confident for the competition as a result of these experiences, which also

demonstrate that there are no boundaries to what she can accomplish and that anything is possible.

Camila expressed her strong desire to dispel prejudices and advocate for Casanare, her hometown.

She wanted to compete in Miss Colombia and be the first lady from Casanare, and she succeeded in her dream by taking home the title.

‘My love began since Casanare, my department, never sent many women to compete in Miss Colombia.

Being the first girl to do it was my goal. That desire came true today when I won the title and became the first competitor from Casanare.

‘Finding Casanare on a map was one of my greatest dreams for my people back home in Colombia. The fact that I was born and reared there makes me proud.

To demonstrate what we’re made of, I’m a lady who always has that commitment to her ethnicity, culture, and territory,’ Camila said.

She would have to put her dream off.

Her lifelong desire has been to compete in pageants. She even obtained the formal decree designating her as her department’s

delegate for the forthcoming Miss Colombia 2018 pageant. But then certain things happened, and she had to put her dream on hold.

She made the decision to be married and have a family in an effort to move on. She thought her hopes of becoming empress had passed

during this time. But she recognized her chance had come when she found out that Miss Universe was now accepting married women and mothers to compete.

‘I believe that Miss Universe’s actions are crucial because they embody the inclusivity that they have talked about in previous years. We are now dispelling the

preconceptions that have kept us back for so long, and one role will never define us. In the end, Camila claimed, ‘that Miss Universe decision inspired me to try again.’

‘When my husband and I got married, we knew that we were going to support each other’s goals and dreams because that’s what marriage is about,’

Camila, 28, said in response to a question concerning her husband’s support. It concerns collaboration.

They continue to encourage one other’s aspirations even after welcoming their first daughter. They want to show their daughter that everything is possible.

‘After my daughter was born, she quickly became our top priority, and we realized that it was our duty as parents to demonstrate to her that she

will never be able to stop us from achieving our goals. On the contrary, she has motivated us to reach our objectives. She went added, ‘My family and Colombia have given me amazing support.’

Camila aspires to be the most ideal mom.

Camila constantly aspires to be the best mother, motivating her daughter to pursue her goals and put in a lot of effort.

‘I want to always be the best wife I can be for my husband, the best mother I can be for my daughter, and most importantly,

the best woman I can be,’ Camila stated.She doesn’t strive to be ‘perfect,’ despite this. She is aware that there are flaws in life and that the secret is to accept both the successes and the setbacks.

I know that when she watches my interviews in a few years, she will think, ‘Wow, it’s so nice to see my mom

achieving her goals, that she never considered me to be a limitation,’ which is what I’ve always wanted to instill in her.

Camila hopes to encourage other kids in addition to inspiring them as a contestant for Miss Colombia and Miss Universe titles.

‘I want mothers to instill in their kids the belief that they are the most beautiful thing on earth and that they are not a constraint.

Everyone has a different life story, of course, but I believe that once we realize how beautiful our children’s love is, our perspectives will shift,’the woman remarked.

Parenting is not an easy job. We have a responsibility to lead by example, just like this mother did

when she became the first Mom-Champ in Martial Arts. She sets a high standard and demonstrates to her kids the strength of moms in all facets.
