‘Wonka’ star Hugh Grant ‘hated’ his role as the Oompa Loompa.

Hugh Grant has shifted into more tragic roles after being well-known for his romantic lead roles in films.

However, he claims that this most recent song is the one he “hated” the most, even though it is neither dramatic nor romantic.

Grant answered ‘drivel’ when asked to sum up his experience filming Wonka.Grant, 63, gave his opinions

about the prequel during a press conference for the movie, and they weren’t as favorable as one may have expected.

He compared the cameras the animators required him to wear on his head to a ‘crown of thorns, very uncomfortable.’

He acknowledged, ‘I made a big fuss about it.’ ‘I couldn’t have hated the whole thing more,’ was added.

In the movie, Grant plays Oompa Loompa Lofty, and he admitted that he was never sure how to behave.
‘To be honest, I did a terrible job with my body, and an animator has taken its place.’

Even the dancing portions lacked enjoyment because they were also animated. ‘With CGI now, it’s very confusing; you can’t tell what’s happening.’

Grant said that he did like ‘messing around and trying new lines’ in spite of his criticisms.

Grant most certainly won’t be portraying an Oompa Loompa anytime soon, but he will definitely be in another movie.

And odds are, he’ll do it with a smile on his face even if he won’t like it. ‘I kind of detest [making movies], but I need the money and I have a lot of kids.’
