A YouTube video demonstrates the perseverance of a dog when giving up would have been far simpler. Eight-year-old Dexter is a Brittany that walks everywhere on his hind legs, much like a human.

Dexter got out during his puppyhood, causing an accident that taught the animal a novel and unusual method of getting from point A to point B.

Dexter’s owner, Kentee Pasek, remembered, ‘A moving van had slowed way down, but he ran right in front of the moving van.’

His legs became somewhat entangled. It was fortunate for us that it just affected his front legs.

After visiting the veterinarian, Dexter had surgery and went back home to recover from the ordeal.

However, something unexpected happened to Kentee one morning while she was making her coffee.’I helped him to his feet. I had coffee ready to go,’ Kentee remarked.

‘In order to enjoy my coffee outside, I went and retrieved my mug. When I emerged again, he was standing on the porch.

She was perplexed as to how the dog got to the porch, refusing to put much weight on his surviving front leg.

When Kentee saw Dexter stand up straight for the first time, she reacted by saying, ‘Oh my gosh, dog!’

The canine who walks like a person, Dexter, is in good health and attends the vet on a regular basis. Neither his back legs nor his spine are problematic.

Kentee thinks that Dexter has a lot to teach everyone. She says, ‘Why aren’t we aiming for those things that we believe are impossible?’

‘You do realize that dogs can’t walk straight? However, why don’t we act on that? I also believe Dexter is proof that anything is possible.
