They say that once the grass was greener, and household appliances were made more reliable. The proof of this is the
technology that has faithfully served the British family for more than 50 years. Sidney Saunders is 83 years old and his wife Rachel is 81.
They have been married for over half a century and have lived all their lives in a small town in the south of England.
The family recently decided to sell a dryer, boiler and washing machine that were made in the 1950s. Most of these devices were acquired after marriage.

All the equipment, which was produced under Minister Winston Churchill, is completely ready for use.
It should be noted that for some devices it was possible to save the instruction manual. The woman said that she had not used her washing machine for 12 years.
At the same time, the engine in it works, the household appliances themselves are serviced, but only water
flows out of it a little, so you have to put a piece down. As for the dryer, it was last used about 60 days ago.

According to the couple, they do not plan to collect a lot of money from the sale, and they are ready to sell all the equipment for the same amount that was spent on the purchase.

They hope that the items will end up in a museum or in the hands of private collectors who will be able to keep them working, and will be displayed as rare household appliances in the future.
