Watching the mother-daughter duo stroll along, the camera captures the moment of surprise as it unfolds.

The two of them murmur softly as they search each room for the boy’s grandfather. The small child quickly announces, ‘He’s in here,’ upon locating the chamber.

The mother’s response was, ‘Go wake him.’ The youngster sprinted into his sleeping grandpa’s room and cried out, ‘Grandpa!’ Upon waking up,

the grandfather was taken aback to see his cherished granddaughter standing before him. Incredulous,

he sat bolt upright on the bed and stared at his daughter, attempting to decipher whether he was dreaming.

The grandfather instantly sprang to give him the largest hug, and the tiny child was lovingly touching him while the grandfather gasped and lay back down.

‘I’m amazed by you. The grandfather murmured, ‘I can’t believe this,’ still struggling for words. He said, ‘I was just thinking about you.’

The young child excitedly stated, ‘We were going to surprise you,’ to which his grandfather replied,

‘You did surprise me!’ with glee. The whole family was beaming with happiness and giggles at this healthy occasion.

‘It was a pleasant surprise!’ ‘Observe his size,’ the grandfather exclaimed, overcome with emotion.

In her post, the woman went into further detail about the preparation and rationale behind the lovely surprise.

‘Heartwarming surprise for my dad,’ it said. Normally in the spring and fall, my parents, who are German citizens, come to visit us in the United States.

My dad’s health prevents him from flying. He frequently expresses to me how much he is missing his grandson. What fun it was to take him by surprise!

My mother was aware of it the entire time. The video went viral on multiple platforms and received over 20,000 likes on YouTube.

People were enthralled with the heartfelt gesture and the grandfather’s response, as seen by the almost one thousand responses.
