Madonna admitted that she was in an artificial coma for 48 hours

Six months later, the singer admitted that at that time she was in an artificial coma for 48 hours.

During a show in Brooklyn, the singer addressed the crowd and said that she was in a deep, controlled sleep when she was hospitalized,

saying how lucky she was to be alive and talking about what she remembers from the situation. Madonna thanked her boyfriend, Shavon, for always being by her side.
