They had some arguments because their marriage was not quite a match made in heaven. To make the painting, they had to set aside their differences and work out a compromise that pleased them both.
At the start of their relationship, Grey feels guilty for not understanding Swayze fully enough. ‘When I look back, I wish I had accepted him for who he really was,
