The well-known cat does not respond, so Karl immediately moves on to the next subject: Mondays.

‘How about Mondays?’ Karl queries. ‘Well, since it’s Monday morning, you must think that this is your favorite day of the week.

Karl asks the same question once more, but this time the cat just gives him a hurt, angry look.
The following query relates to the animal’s recently published book.

This time the cat moves a little, maybe because it was enjoyable to hear its book mentioned on the radio.

Karl breaks down after getting the cat’s take on the nation’s political elite. His laughter becomes uncontrollable and he collapses back into his chair.

Karl chuckles and points to the TV at one point, saying, ‘Look at that cat!’ Then he makes a Star Wars character comparison with the cat.

‘Jabba the Hut is like that!’

Karl says that he’s looking forward to following up with the animal when it arrives in Australia and concludes the conversation by saying that the segment has gone well.

Grumpy Cat, at least, managed to maintain composure and didn’t even smile once during the piece.
