A stranger handed Hadia a note on their first date, telling her to ‘run’ since the guy had too many red flags.
The gay man seated next to her, who had overheard their conversation, had written a warning note on the back of an old CVS receipt after her date had left for the restroom.
Hadia wrote on Twitter about how she was given dating advise by an unknown person in the middle of a date. She tweeted,
‘I had coffee with a guy yesterday,’ adding, ‘The gay guy sitting behind me passed me this note when he went to the bathroom.’
‘Today, I drank coffee with a man. ‘The gay guy sitting behind me passed me this note when he went to the bathroom,’ she wrote.
Eight words made up the warning in the note. The stranger who identified as LGBT wrote, ‘Too many red flags,’ keeping his comment brief.
Hurry. Girl, be careful. The tweet gained more than 385,000 likes and more than 40,000 shares after going popular on the internet.
Many urged Hadia to elaborate on her date since they were curious about what the warning signs were. Hadia complied by providing details in a few more tweets.

Hadia acknowledged that she had seen some warning signs on her own, but she said that she never felt in danger or threatened.
She therefore carried on talking to him, mostly to hear his opinions on different subjects and, ideally, to refute his position on those they didn’t agree on.
‘I saw the warning signs, but I wasn’t in any danger, so I decided to stick around since I had to confront him, of course. My guardian angel was probably worn out and exclaimed, “B*TCH, LEAVE!’ to Hadia.

Even though she didn’t want to bring them up, she continued, saying that there were still a few obvious red flags and that she would have ‘recognized them with or without the note.’
She was grateful to the stranger for the advice. ‘But the note was greatly appreciated and added some laughs to my night,’ she said.
Many people wanted to know if there would be a follow-up date despite the tweets. Someone enquired, ‘Did you pay attention?
since gay men are the ones who understand males the best.’ There wouldn’t be a second date, she confirmed.
