Miranda Lambert revealed her true feelings about her divorce from Blake Shelton.

As everyone knows, breakups can be very painful. When we experience relationship hurt, we wallow in our sadness for a while before summoning the courage to go on.

But living in the public glare and dealing with confusion are perhaps much more difficult for celebrities.

After a celebrity couple receives so much media attention, it can be difficult to move on without inquiries.

Many renowned people write songs about their well-known ex-partners or even explain why they split up in interviews.

For many years, Miranda Lambert’s split from her ex-husband Blake Shelton has made headlines in the press.

One of the most well-known female country music performers of the current age is Lambert. Lambert, who was born in Longview, Texas, on November 10, 1983, started her musical career at a young age.

She practiced her craft in regional talent shows and competitions before going viral as a contestant on the 2003 season of “Nashville Star.”

In addition to her music, Lambert’s marriage to Shelton and ultimate divorce from him contributed significantly to her rise to fame.

Her 2016 double album ‘The Weight of These Wings’was inspired by it. With this thoughtful album that explored the nuances of love and grief,

Lambert won praise from critics and solidified her place among the genre’s most captivating storytellers.

Since then, Lambert has moved on from Shelton, and the same can be said for the latter, who is now married to Gwen Stefani,

the vocalist for No Doubt. Many of Lambert’s admirers are still interested in learning the details of their relationship, though.

When she and Shelton were divorcing in 2022, Lambert opened up to her fans about her feelings. Continue reading to find out more about Shelton and Lambert’s divorce.

Shelton and Lambert started dating in 2006, and in 2011 they got married at the Don Strange Ranch in Boerne, Texas.

With singer Eric Church, the two became involved in a scandal when Lambert stood up for her husband in response to the former’s remarks on ‘The Voice.’

Really, you got a deal if Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton turn around in a red chair? That’s absurd,’ Church remarked to the media.

‘I have no idea why an artist would act in such a way. As an artist, you are not. That’s what it is when

your career revolves around something other than music. I promise never to make that error. At the time, he told Rolling Stone, ‘I don’t care if I starve.’

In 2011, Lambert talked about her feelings when she first saw Shelton, saying, ‘I didn’t know if it was just initial butterflies.’ What it was, I have no idea.

All that was drawn to one another was this. Shelton, she added in an another interview, is ‘the happiest person on the planet.’

‘I am not flowers and sunshine. There is no one happier on the globe than Blake. He rescues me from the shadows. The finest part about being married, in fact, is everything,’ she continued.

They were a power couple in the music business due to their marriage and partnership, but the relationship did not last.

‘This was not our image of the future. And we each proceed forward at our own pace with heavy hearts.

We are actual individuals with actual lives, families, friends, and coworkers. As a result, we respectfully request your privacy and understanding

in relation to this extremely private matter,’ they said at the time in a statement to the Associated Press.

Shelton eventually discovered love again with Stefani, whom he had met on ‘The Voice” at the time.

However, while Lambert was a performer on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America,’ she also got to know Brendan McLoughlin,

her husband, who was a security guard for the New York Police Department. Lambert’s band, Pistol Annies, was the link between the two.

Some fans are still interested in learning what transpired between the two artists that caused them

to be divorced, though. Lambert has spoken about her experiences only infrequently in the previous years.

‘Thank you guys so much for sharing my broken heart with me,’ she said in 2018 as she collected the Song of the Year Award at the ACMs for her song ‘Tin Man.’

Lambert talked candidly with CBS in May 2022 about her feelings during the divorce. ‘I didn’t know how to handle that. No one is, in my opinion.

Although it can be unpleasant at times, you should probably take it with a grain of salt and remember that,

as a singer-songwriter, I am fortunate to be able to speak the truth. She said, ‘I won’t lie in my music.’ Shelton disclosed that their divorce has proceeded ‘quickly,’ however.

‘Things happen so quickly in Oklahoma,’ he said on “Bobby Bones Show.’ Miranda and I had a prenuptial agreement,

but other than that, we were childless. After we filed for divorce, I believe there was a waiting period of nine or ten days.
