Kelly Clarkson shared the method by which she ‘dropped weight’ in order to get her new, slimmer figure.

In 2002, Kelly Clarkson rose to fame after winning the popular competition show ‘American Idol.’

The singer has since sold millions of copies of her CDs and embarked on international tours. ‘Since U Been Gone,’

‘My Life Would Suck Without You,’ and ‘Because Of You” are among her most well-known hits. With her amazing vocal range and tone,

Kelly Clarkson has undoubtedly emerged as one of the world’s most popular and well-known vocalists.

In addition to being a very successful singer, Clarkson has acted in several movies and television series.

Her endearing wit and humorous nature have made her one of the most adored ladies in the entertainment business.

She went on to host her own talk program, ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show,’ and serve as a judge for another singing competition series, ‘The Voice.’

When Clarkson initially started her career in music, she had a very girl-next-door appearance with a hint of edge.

Like most celebrities, Clarkson’s appearance and fashion sense evolved throughout time as she explored new aspects of her personality.

Many people have commented on Clarkson’s appearance while she has been in the spotlight, but Clarkson has never allowed hurtful remarks to get in the way of her.

Her weight fluctuations and health journey have been candidly discussed over the years, demonstrating her beauty on the inside as much as the outside.

Following her divorce from Brandon Blackstock, Clarkson moved to New York with her kids, where she formed a new habit

that would eventually lead to her slimmer figure. She disclosed this practice in January 2024.

Over the course of her numerous years in the public eye, Clarkson has been known to alter her tone and look.

During this period, when many people were watching the then-20-year-old singer win ‘American Idol’ and develop into a stunning woman,

the subject of her weight was uninvitedly brought up. People frequently experience fluctuations in their weight over time because each individual manages

stress differently and finds a diet and exercise regimen that work best for them. Clarkson’s weight was also affected by the fact that she is a mother of two kids.

Clarkson is not apologetic for her appearance, regardless of her size. Clarkson has been open about her shift in lifestyle over the years.

In June 2018, Clarkson talked about how some health issues had caused her to lose 37 pounds when she was a guest on ‘The Today Show.’

‘I started having thyroid issues and an autoimmune disease in 2006,’ Clarkson said. ‘I understand that the industry is all about the weight loss,

but it wasn’t really about the weight for me. It meant, ‘I’m not taking my medication anymore,’ to me.

In an interview with Glamour Magazine, Clarkson discussed the pressure in the music business to have a specific appearance.

She acknowledged, ‘I was just worn out and when I was thin, when I was really thin, and not super healthy,

I felt more pressure from people.’ ‘It was more like having publications pushed in your face and told us that we had to compete with this. I am unable to match it.

2018 saw Clarkson speak with Redbook more about the pressures facing the sector. In reality, nobody is concerned about your well-being. They are only concerned with beauty, she said.

Clarkson also acknowledged that carrying greater weight around her indicates her level of happiness with her life.

‘People should just focus on their own lives, health, and happiness, and whatever that looks like for you, be happy with it,’ she continued.

Having worked as a coach and mentor for many years on ‘The Voice,’ Clarkson has developed a close bond with the cast members.

She said to Glamour Magazine that since it brings out her personality so much, it had become the ideal environment for her.

At her lowest point, Clarkson remarked, ‘I got on the number one television show because it was right after I had kids and it was like they didn’t care.’

She clarified that individuals had hired her because they admired her disposition and her capacity to ‘connect with people.’

‘It had nothing to do with my sex appeal or my aesthetic look,’ Clarkson continued. It was something personal to me. I believe that artists should be the ones to push others toward that way of thinking.

Because she has been the focus of attention for such a long time, Clarkson has grown accustomed to

receiving hate mail and trolling remarks online and has never hesitated to discuss her changing appearance.

She has been even more relevant to her fans since she has persisted in being open and honest with them about eating, body shaming, and body image problems.

In addition to her success as a singer, songwriter, and talk show host, Clarkson has shown herself to be a stunning woman on the inside as well.

Clarkson appeared to have shed some weight once more in November 2023. Hoda Kotb gushed about her beauty while she was on ‘Today,’

complimenting her on ‘looking especially good.’ She did, however, admit that she would rather ‘do wine’ than ‘work out.’

Clarkson acknowledged having a ‘chubby stage’ similar to Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Hager during an interview on her own show.

She said, ‘I love losing weight, but here’s the thing,’ and then acknowledged that her issue was a ‘first-world’ one. ‘Having a smaller waist and a butt makes jeans so hard.’

But Clarkson’s connection to her weight loss quest hasn’t always been smooth. She acknowledged in 2017 that her slim years were ‘a very dark time’ for her.

I considered suicide when I was so thin. I lived four awful years of my life, from the inside out. She said,

‘But nobody gave a damn because you make sense artistically. ‘..I believed that giving up was the only option.

All I would do is put on headphones and run, which like wrecked my knees and feet. I was constantly at the gym.

Rumors that Clarkson was taking Ozempic surfaced in 2023, the same year that her weight drop stunned a lot of her fans.

She did, however, credit New York’s reputation as a ‘walking city’ for her reduced weight and her decision to finally

pay attention to her doctor’s advice. She remarked, ‘Walking around the city is quite the workout,’ and continued,

‘I lost weight because I followed my doctor’s advice—for a few years, I didn’t. I’m also really excellent at it 90% of the time because I benefit from a high-protein diet anyhow.

I’m a Texas gal, therefore I apologize to all vegans worldwide—I like meat! Clarkson stated to People Magazine.
