Sofia Vergara disclosed the real reason she and Joe Manganiello parted ways after seven years of marriage, over half a year after they made their divorce public.

The information was obtained from a recent interview that was originally published in the Spanish daily El País.

Vergara, 51, revealed that Manganiello, 47, and she didn’t agree on how big of a family to have.
The Modern Family actress and her first husband, Joe Gonzalez, already had a 32-year-old son.

Vergara told the newspaper, ‘My marriage ended because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom.’ ‘I think it’s unfair to the infant,’

‘That’s not for me anymore, but I respect whoever does it.’

‘I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I’m ready to be a grandmother, not a mother,’she continued, making a statement about her own age. Thus, when love presents itself, he must bring [his own] kids.
