Graham and Stephanie Freels were completely taken aback to find they would be having five children. The couple had been attempting to conceive for five years without success.
After being married in 2017, Stephanie had a pituitary cyst removed surgically; nonetheless, they were still unable to conceive.
They therefore made the decision to use intrauterine insemination and ovulation induction procedures.
Stephanie announced that she was expecting a child in December 2022, but the family was about to receive a far more startling announcement.
Stephanie underwent an ultrasound in January, which confirmed that she was carrying five babies at once.
Graham, who was overjoyed by the news, posted updates on Facebook and started a blog in April 2023 to notify his friends and family of the newest developments.
Graham and Stephanie were thrilled to hear the news, but they were also concerned. Originally, they were going to move out of Stephanie’s parents’ home, where they had lived since their marriage.
A little apartment had been leased by them in advance of their transfer. With the babies on the way, they made the decision to break the lease.
‘I think we’re going to have a lot of kids, and I don’t think that apartment is going to work for us anymore,’ I told the landlord over the phone. In an appearance with Good Morning America (GMA), Graham said.

The Freels also temporarily relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in March 2023 in order for Dr. John Elliott,
a fetal and maternal medicine specialist who had participated in the delivery of multiple children, to be able to keep an eye on the pregnancy.
The parents revealed that Dr. Elliot was able to ease their anxiety about having five kids at once.
Graham’s wife experienced the horrible and ongoing nausea and vomiting that comes with being pregnant while he was caring for her while working remotely from Phoenix.
‘I think that was the hardest part of my pregnancy,’ she said, ‘was having to work at reaching that calorie goal.’
‘I did not really start eating solid foods on a consistent basis until I was about 23 weeks pregnant.’

In the 27th week of her pregnancy, Stephanie went into labor, and St. Joseph’s Hospital conducted an emergency cesarean section.
The Freelses intended to give birth to their child at the 34th week of pregnancy. With the help
of over twenty medical professionals, the procedure took place on June 4, 2023, yielding four girls and one male.
The hospital released a press statement to the public regarding the births. The quintuplets, who were brothers and sisters,
were named Adelyn, Eliana, Linnea, Harper, and Fisher. At birth, they weighed about two pounds, and because
they needed help breathing, they spent a total of eleven weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Fortunately, the hospital is home to a well-known Nursery Intensive Care Unit (NyICU),
which is notable for seeing to ‘some of the most fragile babies,’ according to Andrea Hassler, nursing director of women and baby services at the hospital. The newborns had no serious problems and were in superb condition.
We had prayed to God for many years to grant us children, and now, at last, our prayers were being heard!
Stephanie, who was cited in the press release, made the statement. ‘Having a big family is something I’ve always wanted, but I never could have imagined it would happen this way.’
Fisher, the lone boy, was the last baby to be discharged from the hospital on August 19, 2023. Following that,
the couple moved to Washington and returned to Stephanie’s parents’ home, where they were well helped.

‘Having them at home is amazing,’ Stephanie remarked in a Good Morning America interview. ‘It’s really great that they don’t have to visit the neonatal intensive care unit repeatedly.’
The newlyweds thanked everyone who had helped them out with gifts and services, including friends,
family, and complete strangers. They also conveyed their appreciation to the medical personnel for their care.
Not only do they give our twins exceptional care, but they also give each and every infant they work with extraordinary attention.
They are just wonderful individuals. According to Graham, they are accomplishing amazing feats.
