Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, husband and wife, will feature in their first joint film since 2004. The duo from Hollywood is expected to co-star in the upcoming film Connescence.
The couple has starred in many social media videos together, but they haven’t been in a full film since Cavedweller and The Woodsman in 2004.
Deadline, the source of the original information, states that Bacon will portray Stan Olszewski in Connescence, who is described as ‘a sharp, funny, but chronically underachieving security guard.’
Olszewski foils a robbery attempt at Cynthia Rand’s (Sedgwick) residence. Rand, a prominent urologist,
is wed to Warren Rand, a former Watergate prosecutor. Olszewski and Rand have a ‘charged and dynamic friendship’ after their coincidental meeting that ‘shakes the foundation of both their lives.’

Sedgwick and Bacon released a statement saying, ‘We are so excited to work together on screen again for the first time in twenty years in such a funny, moving, and original script.’
When Bacon and Sedgwick were filming Lemon Sky in 1987, they first crossed paths, and before the end of the year, they were engaged. September 4, 1988 was the date of the couple’s wedding.
The two actors, Travis (34), and Sosie (31) had a child together. We are eager to reunite with Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick on screen! Kindly let us know if you plan to see their latest film.
