Most people put their all into setting up the ideal environment and mood because they recognize how important that moment is.

In a YouTube video, Craig Vandenberg, a college student, receives assistance from a law enforcement officer.

The officer calls up Emery, the young woman, at the start of the brief two-minute tape. By concocting the lie that he has located her boyfriend’s misplaced wallet,

he assists in getting her down to the college campus. She is asked to come on campus in order to retrieve the wallet, which he is keeping secure.

Craig is listening in from the side while holding a bouquet during the entire exchange between the police officer and the young woman.

Craig and the police are certain that Emery won’t know what’s coming when she gets to school as the call comes to an end.

But before everything happens, the cop makes sure Craig is completely prepared. The officer asks, ‘You have the ring with you, right?’

Craig responds, ‘Yes.’

Later in the video, after the officer returns Emery’s misplaced wallet, Craig appears out of nowhere from the back of the squad car carrying flowers.

The couple moves away from the police car and toward the lake, taking several steps. After giving Emery the flowers,

the young man bends over and takes out the ring. Before he can even finish asking the question, Emery responds.

She responds, ‘Oh my God, yes.’
