If you or someone you know serves in the US military, you are aware that your job may require you to
spend a lot of time away from your family. A year had passed since Jonathan Hill, a First Class Boatswain’s Mate, had left.
Excellent news: Jonathan’s time apart from his family was almost over. And he had great intentions of being there for his two kids.
It was suggested that Landon, 15, and Jaliya, 8, visit the gym along with the other kids at North Muskegon High School. They were unaware that their father was the esteemed guest of the gathering.

Jonathan strolled down the hallways. He had just arrived in Detroit Metro after traveling from Bahrain to London. The most scary aspect of traveling by plane was having to wait to enter the gym.
We had been planning this last-minute get-together before spring break for a month. This reunion had been kept a secret by the North Muskegon High School faculty, but it had finally been revealed.

Jonathan’s concerns vanished as soon as he entered the crowded exercise facility. When Landon and Jaliya began to scream,
they hurried to their father, who was already there. The people surrounding them began to applaud.
Jonathan had spent a long time anticipating this momentous occasion. ‘My son almost tackled me,’ declared Jonathan, ‘and it was the best feeling I’ve had in a year.’
