In honor of his friend David Soul, who passed away lately, Paul Michael Glaser is paying tribute.

Glaser, who costarred with Soul in the television series Starsky & Hutch, describes David as a compassionate individual and a brother.

Eighty-year-old Glaser finds it difficult to accept David’s passing and recalls their earlier phone conversations in which they would make fun of each other.

He offers his sympathies to Helen, the wife that David cherished. Glaser also offers his condolences to David’s daughter and boys.

He is grateful for the public’s support, as they were acknowledged for their unique friendship. On Starsky & Hutch,

which aired from 1975 to 1979, the two actors costarred as detectives tasked with solving murders in California.

There were discussions of bringing the show back in 2023 with female leads. David Soul suggested they portray senior detectives investigating minor crimes in an elderly living facility when

he questioned why they couldn’t be included in the relaunch. In a lighthearted reply, Glaser asked not to be called an ‘old fart,’ but rather to just be called ‘old.’

Following a difficult fight, David Soul passed away on Wednesday, according to his wife Helen Snell.

She praised his abilities as an actor, singer, and storyteller while calling him a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

She underlined how those whose lives he touched will remember his joy, humor, and zest for life.
