‘Mongolian Cowboy’ Enkh-Erdene wonderfully amazes the audience with his unique voice on America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League.

Heidi Klum picked Enkh-Erdene right away when the judges on America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League had to choose which singers to put on their teams.

Enkh-Erdene, who grew up in a rural Mongolian village, was a popular participant on Mongolia’s Got Talent after winning Season 2.

He confessed that he was frequently anxious before a performance when he and his interpreter arrived to meet Heidi. He had a ‘star voice,’ so she urged him to have confidence.

Enkh entered the stage for his first appearance on the show and gave the judges a gentle, kind greeting.

Then he started to sing, and the audience gasped as he crooned a rendition of Garth Brooks’ country hit ‘Friends In Low Places.’

He surprised the judges and the audience with his self-assured performance and rich, deep baritone voice.

Howie Mandel exclaimed, ‘Is that coming out of him?’ after hearing his voice and being taken aback.

When Howie questioned whether Enkh was lip-syncing after being astounded by his vocals, Heidi warned him,

‘Don’t judge a book by its cover!” Enkh grew up surrounded by traditional folk music from Mongolia,

but it wasn’t until he saw American country music icons like Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash that he truly fell in love with music.

His own achievements in the field only serve to demonstrate that, when it comes to emulating those you hold dear, one’s background is irrelevant.
