The moment an armed thief broke into this convenience shop in Monterrey, Mexico, it was a frightening scene.

He pointed the rifle at the cashier as he approached her and demanded money. He turned to face the man behind the counter, then, and held up the gun.

Although his words are not audible to us, it appears that the thief was yelling a warning. However, the gunman then did something that was never appropriate.

Everything changed in an instant when he turned his back on the man wearing the cowboy hat. The courageous client took advantage of the situation to force the gun from the thief.

While they were still fighting, a staff member came from behind and took hold of the gun. When the thief tries to flee,

two workers and the courageous cowboy tackle him to the ground. The cashier is seen reaching for her phone to make a help call.

Security cameras record this entire terrifying moment. As I watched to see what would happen next, I was genuinely on the tip of my seat.

This scene would have ended quite differently if not for the cowboy’s valiant attempts. This man was undoubtedly placed by God at just the correct moment.

His actions may have saved many lives in addition to aiding in the capture of a dangerous criminal.
