Tammy, a Dixon, Kentucky native, debuted on ‘1000-Lb Sisters’ in 2020 at the age of 37. She already had a large following on YouTube because to her entertaining videos, as did her sister Amy.
The sisters battled to eat healthily and lose weight since between them, they weighed over a thousand pounds. They’ve gone a long way by 2024. This is a peek at Tammy’s incredible journey.
She accepted the challenge of living a better life. She met her husband, who tragically passed away in 2023, at Windsor Lane Center in Gibsonburg, where they spent 14 months together.
Tammy lost approximately 400 pounds (181 kg) following surgery in late 2022, and she currently weighs 285 pounds (129 kg).

Tammy continues to inspire others by focusing on her health after a serious health scare. Tammy’s weight caused her to have numerous health problems.
She required a tracheostomy and was hospitalized in November 2021, but she made a full recovery.
According to her brother Chris Combs, she shed 115 pounds (52 kg) while in treatment in Ohio, according to the final episode of season three in January 2022.
