Actor Kevin Costner didn’t think twice when he learned that Prince William was interested in meeting with him.
The two reportedly met a few years ago, but details of their meeting have remained unknown up until this point.
Famous actor Costner, who saw a quick ascent to fame and established himself as a Hollywood heartthrob in the 1990s, has now spoken out about a revelation Prince William made about his late mother, Princess Diana.
The fact that Kevin Costner is 69 years old is still a bit of a shock. The actor, who has a legendary record and a glittering reputation that has endured,
is most known for roles in movies like Dances With Wolves, The Bodyguard, and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
Nevertheless, even he feels obliged to respond to the call of a true prince. In a recent interview with People Magazine, Costner disclosed that he had participated in a special meeting with Prince William, at least in part.
According to the cited interview, the Yellowstone actor learned that William was interested in meeting with him while he was in the UK.
‘I was in England when I received a telegram saying the prince was eager to speak with me. I was taken aback. and after that I said, ‘Alright,’ Costner said to People.
‘We met in this room, and it was just us. We shook hands as he approached. ‘Well, my mom kind of fancied you,’ was the first thing he said.
After that, Caras said, the two talked for perhaps thirty minutes. Although Costner refrained from disclosing every detail of their private discussion, he called his encounter with Prince William ‘sweet.’
It has been stated that years prior, Costner had communicated with Princess Diana about working together on a follow-up to the popular 1992 movie The Bodyguard.
