The 13-year-old’s puppet brings laughter, but her singing makes the audience cheer!

I’ve said it a lot: there are a lot of young people with extraordinary skill on the Got skill stages.

This girl, however, demonstrates her multifaceted talent. Ana-Maria Mărgean, a 13-year-old ventriloquist, won Romania’s Got Talent in 2021 at the tender age of 11; witnessing her act, one can readily understand why.

Her narrative is very remarkable: she has only been ventriloquist for a few years, having picked up the art from watching web videos of Terry Fator, and her mother creates the puppets!

She and her dog puppet perform a humorous rendition of Leslie Gore’s 1963 rhythm-and-blues ballad ‘You Don’t Own Me’ during her audition for the 2023 America’s Got Talent All-Stars competition.

Gore sang the song when she was just 17 years old. Her performance was deemed great by the judges. Simon remarked, ‘I really like your dog, and you are really funny.’

Heidi expressed her admiration as well, saying, ‘No wonder you won; you are incredible.’ After watching the audition video below, kindly let us know what you thought by posting a Facebook comment!
