The uniform of Team Mongolia at the Paris Olympics has been praised as the ‘most beautiful’ by the internet.

Social media is ablaze with enthusiastic praise for Mongolia’s national Olympic outfits for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Internet viewers will be in wonder of these breathtaking ensembles, which are influenced by traditional East Asian styles and will be displayed by over 30 athletes from Mongolia.

The most avant-garde clothing line in Mongolia, Michel&Amazonka, unveiled the initial version of these uniforms on their official Instagram page on July 3.

The uniforms received an immediate and overwhelmingly enthusiastic response on social media ahead of the Olympic games, which are scheduled to begin on Friday, July 26 and run through August 11.

‘OMG u guys really ate this one,’ one Instagram user said, while another just said, ‘I’m impressed.’ Another fan said, ‘This costume is just amazing.’

Munkhjargal Choigaalaa, Amazonka, and Michel, sisters, created Michel&Amazonka in 2015 with its headquarters located in Ulaanbaatar.

The brand is renowned for its ability to creatively combine parts of Mongolian culture with modern fashion, incorporating both couture and ready-to-wear lines.

The team’s jerseys for this Olympics are the result of Michel & Amazonka’s second straight collaboration.

Olympic and national symbols are included in the ceremonial clothing for the 33rd Summer Olympics, according to Montsame, the state-run news agency of Mongolia.

These include the Nine White Banners, which stand for the respect accorded to the Mongolian state; the Olympic torch; the emblem of the Paris Olympics; and elaborately embroidered with golden thread depictions of the sun, moon, and the Gua-Maral, the mythical deer.

According to Eternal Landscapes (2014), Mongolians see the sun and moon as their country’s mother and father, respectively. The Soyombo,

the first character of the Mongolian Soyombo script, which appears on the flag, also reflects these aspects.

As to CNN, men flag-bearers will wear belts, traditional Mongolian boots, and archery helmets, while female athletes will be dressed in ceremonial jewelry and embroidered bags.

Each outfit required an average of twenty hours to make due to its detailed nature, as stated by the Mongolian National Olympic Committee.

The uniforms have been more and more well-liked since their initial unveiling. On July 14, fashion critic Ryan Yip posted a video on TikTok expressing his admiration, and it has received over 2.4 million views.

“These are not runway pieces, this is the Mongolian Olympic uniform,” he added, praising the designers. Please explain what spurred Michel Amazonka and the entire Mongolian Olympic squad to such extremes.

I need to learn that wizardry, so tell me what inspired it. “They just won the Olympics before it even started,” he continued. TikToker Bee Jamieson also voiced her opinions in a video that has received close to 322,000 views.

“Everything appears to have been really well thought out,” she said. I think the small bags are adorable. Saying, “I think that when it comes to the Olympics,

you have to be over the top, and this is beautiful,” Bee responded to some criticism of the traditional components of the outfits.
