Barbra Streisand and Susan Boyle Perform a Memorable Duet of ‘Memory’ from Cats

On 1981, the very popular and significant musical Cats had its debut on London’s West End. Based on T.S. Eliot’s poetry collection “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats,”

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical has gained international acclaim for its inventive plot and catchy music.

It chronicles the adventures and daily lives of the Jellicles, a tribe of cats that get together every year for their Jellicle Ball, where one cat is selected to ascend to the Heaviside Layer and be reborn.

Grizabella’s rendition of “Memory” is one of the album’s best tunes. The melancholic and intense song has emerged as a standout number in the musical as well as a stand-alone success.

Trevor Nunn wrote the words for “Memory,” drawing inspiration from T.S. Eliot’s poem “Rhapsody on a Windy Night.” Andrew Lloyd Webber handled the music.

Therefore, it might be amazing when two powerful voices combine to perform a powerful song. And this video features just that.
