On their wedding day, Becky’s soon-to-be husband surprised her with the most amazing gift. As a mother, Becky had gone through her worst nightmare when her 19-year-old son Triston passed away.
At that time, he donated his heart and other organs to individuals in need. Even though Becky was going through a lot of emotional turmoil, she persisted,
and two years later she got to marry Kelly—the guy of her dreams. He orchestrated the most exquisite surprise for their wedding, causing her to cry uncontrollably.

In honor of her late son, Becky and Kelly had set aside a spot in their wedding. What should I do since I’m in heaven for your wedding? was written on a sign they left on the seat.
I’ll spend it with you here on Earth. So please, just one empty chair; reserve me a place. Even though you can’t see me,
I’ll be there.” much though this statement was endearing on its own, Kelly had another, much more poignant message in mind.

Becky was informed by her adoring fiance that she simply had to meet someone before the wedding ceremony.
At that moment, a man identified as Jacob, age 21, materialized, and Becky recognized him instantly. Jacob had gotten a heart donation from Becky’s kid two years prior.
The recipient of the heart had traveled from San Diego by plane to be present on her special day. It was inevitable that the stunning bride would start crying uncontrollably.
She even had the opportunity to use a stethoscope to hear her late son’s heartbeat.

As her visitors wept with joy, Becky couldn’t contain her delight and leaped up and down. When her tale was posted on Facebook, it quickly gained popularity.
Her journey has consequently impacted many of hearts worldwide. “This says so much about her new husband,” remarked Judith Cleek. What a wonderful, heartfelt, and emotional display of love and caring.
“This is such a beautiful thing… A selfless act of love… Shows us all things are possible,” Helen Burnett continued. May God richly bless this family.
Why can’t we just have one news program that focuses on promoting uplifting, motivational tales like these, as pointed out by Tara Sorensen?
If only it were shared, the abundance of goodness and love in the world could inspire the same. Even though Becky and Kelly had to say goodbye to Triston,
they will always cherish this time because they will always love and adore one other despite hardship and grief.
