Dion hasn’t made many public appearances in recent years. Dion unveiled the teaser for her Amazon Prime documentary, “I Am: Céline Dion,” in May 2024. It has been difficult, I must say.
I really do miss it. I miss those people so much. I’ll crawl if I’m unable to walk. I’m not going to stop.
Dion declared in the documentary’s teaser, “I won’t stop.” At this point, Hoda Kotb of Today suggested that she had an exclusive interview with Dion that will be released on June 14, 2024.
Kotb posed questions to Dion that her devoted followers across the globe had been dying to know the answers to during their emotional 42-minute chat.
Dion claimed it was “too much” for her to keep her sickness a secret from her admirers. “What am I supposed to say? What have I got? We had no idea what was happening.
I ought to have stopped, given myself some space, and realized that this time wasn’t enough,” she remarked. And lying was just too much of a weight for me.
I was unable to continue lying to the folks that helped me get to where I am now. Dion characterized the involuntary spasms associated with Stiff Person Syndrome as though “someone is strangling you.”
She described it as “like somebody is pushing your larynx/pharynx this way.” Since then, Dion has progressively made her way back into the spotlight,
and talk about her going back on stage has gotten more traction. Dion maintains a hopeful attitude that she will get over her illness even if she still has challenges.
In fact, there are rumors that she will be performing in the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony in France.

As the day draws near, a growing number of hints linking Dion to the event surface. Days before the opening ceremony on July 26, 2024, Dion landed in Paris and was described by RTL as being in “good physical shape” on July 23, 2024.
Then, she was seen in front of The Royal Monceau waving to her admirers. In addition, Dion shared pictures on X, the previous Twitter platform, on July 24, 2024, commemorating her return to Paris. “Every time I visit Paris again,
I’m reminded that there is still so much joy and beauty in the world.” I adore Paris, and I’m overjoyed to be returning! We are grateful to our amazing friends at The Louvre! Celine xx..,”
Dion wrote as the caption for her Louvre pictures. Similarly, The Guardian said that Dion and Grammy-winning artist Lady Gaga will be performing at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony.
They are purportedly going to be singing “La Vie en Rose” by Édith Piaf. According to The Daily Mail, on July 23, 2024,
Gaga too came in Paris and greeted her devoted followers with kisses in front of the same hotel as Dion.

Concurrently, French President Emmanuel Macron teased Dion’s participation in the opening ceremony in an interview with television channel France 2.
It seems that she has reached Paris, which is fantastic! Macron was cited by The Guardian as saying, “Like all our compatriots, I would be incredibly happy if she could be at this opening ceremony.”
