The SAG Life Achievement Award was to be given to Sally Field at the 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony.

The actress would become the 58th recipient of the award, joining Helen Mirren, Betty White, Robert De Niro, and other notables.

Fran Drescher, head of SAG-AFTRA, praised Field as a superb performer with a wide range and the capacity to fully inhabit whatever role she played.

The guild president claimed that the star’s career continued because she delivered sincere performances.

Drescher also made a comment about the honoree’s capacity for warmth and likeability. The president stated that Field’s ’depth and multifaceted career’ is what accounts for her fan base before adding:

‘Sally is a fantastic star with the attitude of a professional actress—just keep doing the job and being as outstanding as you can,’ said one critic.

Although the actress, who will be 76 in 2023, got the guild’s highest honor for her work, she was most committed to her kids. They became the main focus of her life after things didn’t work out in other areas.

The three things in Field’s life of which he is most proud are his three sons, he once said. The Oscar winner praised her kids for being good people who work hard.

The famous person also mentioned that each of the kids has a unique resume of skills and accomplishments.

The ‘Smokey and the Bandit’ actress became a mother for the first time in 1969 when she gave birth to Peter, her first son and child.

After Steven, the actress married Alan Greisman for a second time. The actress and movie producer had beyond their prime childbearing years when they welcomed Samuel in 1987.

Sadly, the actress from “Flying Nun” and Alan was divorced in 1994 after just ten years of marriage.

Field’s second marriage ended, so she focused all of her time and effort on parenting her kids while also working.

The star claimed that she no longer wanted to make time for dating because her children are her entire ‘life,’ even though the youngsters will be adults in 2023.

The ‘Steel Magnolias’ actress admitted she was single and lived in the same household as her kids, saying:

I belong to that clan. To me, that is everything.

In 2020, a source said they wouldn’t be surprised if Field tried love again in the future. The ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ star had allegedly found ‘someone wonderful’ who she would not keep a secret from the general public.

In 1998, [Sally] Field experienced becoming a grandmother for the first time when Peter Craig and his first wife, Amy Scattergood, welcomed their daughter, Isabel Craig.

The insider claimed that although the actress was a ‘perpetual optimist’ at heart, she was also incredibly content in her own skin.

While married to his second wife, Jennifer DeFrancisco, Peter gave her her first grandchild and welcomed Ogden, his first son.

DeFrancisco and Field’s son wed in 2008 but separated in 2017 after nine years of marriage.

Eli and Sasha Craig’s fourth child, Noah, was born in 2006, making the acclaimed actress a grandma of four.

In 2014, the couple welcomed Colin, the son of the director and actress of ‘Little Evil.’ Field cared for her grandchildren a lot, but that didn’t mean she neglected her own children.

Despite a career spanning more than five decades, the triplets will always come first for Field. A close friend of the actress claimed in 2020 that she was ‘fun and humorous’ with her many grandchildren.
