An autistic pianist who is also blind wowed the judges on America’s Got Talent with his incredible performance.

Kodi Lee’s rendition of Leon Russell’s ‘A Song For You’ moved the judges to tears. TV talent competitions frequently focus too much on

tragic backstories and sad scenes, but when Kodi Lee, 22, performed in front of the America’s Got Talent judges, there were undoubtedly a few teary eyes.

Everyone was in awe of the young pianist/singer from California as he sang Leon Russell’s ‘A Song For You.’

With the assistance of his mother, he stepped onto the stage, and it was instantly clear how he was feeling. But as soon as he sat down to start playing, he changed irrevocably.

‘We discovered early on that he loved music. His mother said, ‘He listened, and his eyes just went huge!’

‘When he started singing, I just started crying because I realized he’s an entertainer,’ she said.

‘He was able to endure life in this environment through performance since, as an autistic person, it can be really difficult to do what everyone else does.

Actually, playing music has saved his life.Kodi’s performance won over the judges’ hearts to the point that

they awarded him the coveted ‘golden buzzer,’ advancing him directly to the talent show’s live finals.
