I had a long-standing fantasy of going to a performance by a well-known dance company. I was putting off buying tickets for this much-anticipated event for different reasons.

Even with all of the many obstacles, I was still determined to see my favorite band perform. I clung to the hope that something miraculous would happen and I would be able to go to their concert.

My goal ultimately came true two years later, which was a lot longer than I had anticipated. My spouse kindly excused me from the delayed ticket purchase by sending me an invitation to the concert.

He said that getting tickets for this specific event was quite difficult because they sell out quickly, which is a claim I couldn’t really argue with.

My spouse purchased tickets for the group’s show on the day it was announced, and he was able to get nearly the last balcony seats.

The seats turned out to be great, providing us with a perfect vantage point from which to fully enjoy the show, even with the quick sales of tickets.
