These Siamese twins were split up 13 years ago and here is what how they look now that they grew up!

In 2006, Abby Carlsen and Isabelle’s baby was born in the state of Minnesota. They were Siamese twins who were the same and shared a chest and an abdomen.

Even before their daughters were born, the girls’ parents had accepted that they were not going to have normal twins.

Because the children’s illness was so rare, the medical staff started looking for ways to keep them apart from each other right away.

The people in the area and the media in the area showed how curious the babies were quickly becoming.

Even though Jesse and Amy, who are both parents, were asked many times, they found it hard.

It was very hard to separate the twins because Isabella’s heart was in Abby’s chest and some of the girls’ parts were the same and others were tangled.

As a direct consequence of this, the choice to have surgery was not an easy one for the parents to make.

Before settling on the optimal surgical methods, the Carlsens had to spend over half a year in discussion and debate with members of the medical community.

The treatment was given in Rochester, Minnesota, at the Mayo Clinic. The surgery took 12 hours, and 17 doctors helped with it.

Even though both girls were in danger, they were able to be separated. However, they were not freed until six months after the event.

Later, one of the doctors said that the hardest part of the process was separating the liver into two pieces.

The fact that both girls lived and that the surgery worked can only be called a miracle.

When the twins were 10 years old, they let a TV station question them and gave a short summary of their lives.

They were in the fourth grade at the time, and they lived in North Dakota. They did gymnastics.

Even though, as they got older, they had very different hobbies and interests, they stayed each other’s best friends.

Even though they are twins, Abby has no idea how anyone could ever mistake them for each other.

Abby and Isabelle have both changed their lives for the better and are now happy, healthy, and doing well in school. They also belong to a warm and friendly family.

The ladies find it difficult to accept that the conjoined Siamese twins are actually them after seeing their baby pictures.
