The entertainment industry is mourning the passing of Treat Williams. The star of the television
programs Hair and Everwood reportedly died on Monday following a motorcycle accident, according to sources from ET. He was 71.
Kim Cattrall is one of the numerous people who knew the late star or worked with him who have used social media
to honor him and offer their sincere condolences to his family. Williams leaves behind his wife Pam Van Sant and two of his kids, Gill and Elinor, also known as ‘Ellie.’
‘I can’t believe it! ‘Rest in peace, dear Treat,’ Cattrall wrote next to a vintage photo of the two of them in a film role.
My deepest sympathies go out to Pam, Gilles, Ellie, and the rest of the family. A superb buddy and performer in his own right.’

In an article, Williams’ co-star Emily VanCamp wrote, ‘The many times we worked together – it was always wonderful, and I was always excited for the next time.’

In 2011, the two worked together once more on the CBS Hallmark Hall of Fame film Beyond the Chalkboard.

John Travolta remembered on a moment when he and Williams toured together on Broadway through the use of his Instagram Story.
The author reportedly stated, ‘Treat Williams and I got our start together in New York City appearing in two Broadway shows: Grease and Over Here.’

Williams and Baldwin spoke for an episode of Inside the Actor’s Studio that aired in December 2022 about Williams’ stellar career.

Matt Bomer, who collaborated with Williams on the television series White Collar, posted a heartfelt memory of their time together on his Instagram feed.
He said, ‘This is a tough one, and I don’t like doing this on social media, but I want to share what an absolute treasure Treat Williams was- both as an actor and as a person.’

In 2014, Treat Williams passed away. ‘I was really touched when he agreed to play my father on White Collar.
He got right in and made every day on set a joy. Because of him, every day was an occasion to rejoice.
He patiently set an example for me, which was the most lovely way he could have taught me. He is one of the very few performers
I’ve worked with who has ever asked about my well-being, even years after we concluded our collaboration.

Treat, you weren’t just a great actor, you were an even greater guy, and I’ll miss you. I count it a huge blessing that I’ve had the opportunity to get to know you.
