Teen felt everyone was looking at his injured teammate and was unaware that he was being filmed.

When the unexpected occurred, Grayson Bonomo was participating in a football game at Northeast Guilford High School.

Sports are physical activities, thus any player is aware that there is a chance of damage. Nevertheless, it is frightening when an injury really happens.

The football player was determined to get his squad the game’s first down and was giving it his all. He was unable to reach the ball in time because the snap was taken too high.

The other player was struck by the young man so hard that the impact briefly rendered him unconscious.

Everyone in the crowd was watching what was happening with bated breath because it was such a terrifying time.

After opening his eyes, Grayson was attended to by the paramedics who arrived on the scene right away.

It was alarming to realize how quickly an exhilarating game may change into a medical emergency.

While everyone was running around in a frenzy, one of Grayson’s team members left to do something different.

He had a valid reason for wanting his own space, too. He wished to be by himself so that he could discreetly pray for his hurt buddy.

While everyone was preoccupied with the chaos, someone in the audience noticed Dillon and decided to take a picture of him as the young player fervently prayed for his friend.

He prayed for his friend Grayson while remaining silent and keeping his eyes closed while holding the football to the ground.

When Grayson’s mother Colleen Siler saw the picture, she made the decision to post it online.
She wanted the whole world to see this image since it was so powerful.

Colleen is glad that Grayson has a friend like Dillon because he would instantly pray for him in times of need.

Colleen posted the picture and the touching narrative on the Fox8 Facebook page.

She doesn’t know who took the picture, but she was glad that someone had the idea to take such a motivational picture.

Dillon just wanted his friend to be safe and had no idea he was being photographed. Colleen is happy that

her son has a nice friend, and she imagines that Dillon’s parents must be really proud of their son.

Thousands of people who were touched by the young man’s prayer for his hurt pal loved the picture.

Online, Colleen revealed that she saw Dillon as her adopted child and that the young student and Grayson literally grew up together.

It is understandable why Dillon would be worried about his friend so much. Knowing that someone like Dillon exists is encouraging.

More people like him are needed in the world.
