After knowing what these three brothers had been through, a couple chose to adopt them: ‘we did not want to adopt, but we could not otherwise, we fell in love as…’

Bryson, Brody, and Wesley were three of these youngsters who had previously been in the foster care

system in Alexandria, Kentucky. Throughout their stay, they were moved from one foster family to another.

They needed a home that they could finally call their own because they had through a difficult time with their family.

In 2018, when the boys were just ages 7, 8, and 9, they worried that the longer they stayed in foster care, the more likely it would be that they would be split up.

To everyone’s relief, two courageous people who were nearby did everything they could to save the kids and make sure they stayed together as a group.

Hollie and Bryan Schroers were able to make room in their home and hearts for some significant new family members,

despite the fact that they already had three adult children and one child who was only 12 years old at the time.

After learning what had transpired with Bryson, Brody, and Wesley, Hollie and Bryan were resolved to do all

within their power to ensure that the three boys would be together for the remainder of their lives.

Although they did not want any more children at the moment, they realized that these two young boys would always be a part of their family.

As a result, the Schroers welcomed three additional people into their compact apartment, giving the kids a permanent home.

Three brothers’ temporary living arrangement has evolved into the place they will always call home.

‘They were living at a hotel with their biological parents, and it was just one room with all of

the kids, and there was a lot of other things going on,’ said Hollie of the circumstance.

The adoptive parents admitted, “We really didn’t want to adopt, but we kind of fell in love with them.

Finally, in the month of December of that year, Bryson, Brody, and Wesley received the best Christmas gift

a youngster could ask for: a home of their own. The occasion was also handled in a spectacular manner.

Celebrations were held in the Campbell County Courthouse in Newport, Kentucky. According to Hollie,

‘It’s really a huge day—almost like a wedding—taking on some new folks, forming a whole new family.’

They have experienced a great deal in their lives. As a result, they recognize that ‘We’re here to stay and nobody can take us away from this spot any longer.

The three little boys were overjoyed that they now had parents ‘who take care of them’ since it meant that they had finally found a home where they would be taken care of.

We get to live with another family that will stay forever, stated Wesley. They are simply amazing.
