Calista Flockhart just rocked the red carpet at the ‘Indiana Jones’ premiere in the most iconic way possible! She totally slayed in her yellow skirt from the 1999 Emmy Awards.

Hollywood actress Calista Flockhart is well aware of the fact that vintage clothing is kept over time yet never goes out of style.

The famous actress recreated one of her most famous looks when she went to the ‘Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny’ premiere on June 14,

2023, and she looked just as lovely as the first time she wore the chic costume. The Hollywood celebrity

showed up to the ceremony in support of Harrison Ford, her husband and the longtime ‘Indiana Jones’ actor.

After making her acting debut in 1989, Flockhart has been involved in the movie and film industries for more than three decades.

She then accepted a small part in the CBS-produced television series ‘Guiding Light.’ She spent some time acting,

making an appearance on the New York stage in ‘Beside Herself.’ Before taking on more film parts, Flockhart had her Broadway debut in ‘The Glass Menagerie’ in 1994.

The television series ‘Ally McBeal’ gave the famous actress her big break in 1997. Flockhart rose to fame

for her performance as the title character in the lead role. Because of the level of dedication required

for episodic shows, she was first hesitant to join the series, but the screenplay attracted her curiosity.

The next year, the TV star received a Golden Globe Award for the performance. Additionally, she received three Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

Flockhart wore an outfit to the 1999 Emmy Awards that continued to look stylish years later. She tucked her

slender frame into a vivid golden-yellow Ralph Lauren skirt that flowed in an A-line down her legs.

Long silk skirt and a white button-down top were among Flockhart’s simple yet chic glam choices. She tied the shirttail into a knot and wore

the shirt like a cropped top, exposing her midriff. The actress wore her straight, blond hair down so that it touched her shoulders.

She complemented her stylish ensemble with a diamond necklace and diamond stud earrings while wearing strappy sandals on her feet.

Flockhart finished off her glamorous look with a bold red lip color and a dazzling yellow purse. The show won the prize for Best Comedy Series, despite the fact that she did not.

In spite of ‘Ally McBeal’ being canceled in 2002, Flockhart continued to work as an actor. Her co-stars in the 2006 film ‘Brothers & Sisters’ included Sally Field,

Matthew Rhys, and Rachel Griffiths. ‘The Last Shot,’ ‘Fragile,’ and ‘Supergirl,’ among others, are some of her other efforts.

After several years of courting, Flockhart wed iconic actor Ford in 2010. At the Golden Globes Awards in 2002, the couple first connected.

She knocked her drink over on him, and they started talking. Flockhart once disputed the claim in an interview with Hello Magazine by pointing out that it was the reverse.

However, the drinking problem actually helped them meet, and in 2010, they were married in a lavish ceremony in Santa Fe.

It was Flockhart’s first marriage, whereas Ford had been married twice. It is safe to assume that since then, the couple has supported one another.

When Flockhart accompanied her husband to the opening of his new film, it was clear that they had each other’s admirable level of support.

Since he began portraying the character in 1981, the ‘Indiana Jones’ series has played a significant role in Ford’s career.

Flockhart recreated her 1999 glam for the premiere of ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,’ demonstrating that the fashion statement never went out of style.

Elizabeth Stewart, Flockhart’s go-to stylist, helped her put her vintage Ralph Lauren skirt together

by styling it with a form-fitting off-the-shoulder black blouse. She wore only a pair of hoops as her only jewelry.

An overjoyed Stewart shared pictures of Flockhart wearing the chic ensemble on Instagram, looking just as colorful as the first time she wore it. Stewart’s post’s caption read:

‘CalistaFlockhart is wearing the same golden yellow @ralphlauren skirt she wore to the 1999 Emmy Awards as she heads to the

Los Angeles premiere of #IndianaJones! People, cherish and reuse your clothing! 😉(And sure, we have worked together for that long!)’

Many of Flockhart’s followers were moved by Stewart’s comments as they gushed over the appearance.

Despite not having the exact skirt in stock, Ralph Lauren does have a more contemporary version in their spring and summer 2023 collection.

While Flockhart’s maxi skirt inspired nostalgia in internet users, Flockhart’s husband also had some thoughts on his Indiana Jones roles.

The actor discussed how he thought “Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny” brought the role full circle in an interview with ET’s Cassie DiLaura.

Ford said that despite having played the part for a long time, he was ‘grateful’ for the chance to make the movie again.
