Parents adopt a dog whose ‘paw’ resembles a girl’s to surprise her.

Everyone has experienced this as they have grown up: everything that makes one stand out will be mocked and ruthlessly plucked at.

Children on the playground and in buses are not known for being tolerant of others, regardless of their appearance, speech impediment, skin problem, or other physical abnormality.

Children ache to be accepted and to blend in. Brooklyn, a young girl, was delighted to see a puppy that also has ectrodactyly because of this.

According to the National Library of Medicine, ectrodactyly is a rare disorder in which the central portions of the hands and/or feet are absent, giving them a cleft look.

Brooklyn, a kindergarten student, was subjected to cruel treatment by her peers because of her right hand.

Children made less than pleasant comments to the young girl in the classroom and on the bus.

Brooklyn’s mother, Tina, claims in a YouTube video that her daughter would cry while viewing images

and videos of the Bronx. ‘I just feel so happy that somebody else is like me,’ Brooklyn said to her mother.

Brooklyn’s parents decided to pick up Bronx after realizing how delighted she was only by looking at pictures of

the unusual dog online. The 24-hour round-trip excursion was planned as a surprise for the young girl.

She couldn’t believe it when she first met her puppy and was told he was hers. ‘Is he really ours?’Brooklyn kept asking. You’re serious, right?

Brooklyn claims that her ‘favorite thing about Bronx is his paw.’ According to Brooklyn and her mother Tina, Bronx and Brooklyn have ‘identical matching paws.’

The animal is now anticipating Brooklyn’s arrival home from the bus and racing to meet her when she opens the door.

‘Bronx is my best friend,’ Brooklyn claims.
