Being a teacher is a wonderful and significant profession. Those educators, whether they work in elementary, middle, high, or college settings,
are forming and molding the brains of the following generation. Teachers have the power to and do have an impact on thousands of children during their careers.

After 30 years of teaching high school chorus in Georgia, Jim Stanley is retiring. Jim had an idea, though,
so he didn’t put his chorus book and music down for good. He invited his past pupils to join his present students in song. According to a YouTube video, the teacher would have a musical send-off.
The invitation reached hundreds of former students, not just a select few who came back to sing with Jim one last time. Jim had no idea the crowd would get so large.

Jim stated, ‘I announced it, went ahead, and scheduled it. ‘I was going to have them sing with my current kids on our final concert of the year,
and I was hoping I might be able to get 20, 25 kids to come back,’ the teacher said. Then a few graduates really started a Facebook community, which week after week continued to grow.
The students that returned to the Georgia high school weren’t only those who still reside nearby.
They came from as far away as Texas, Chicago, and Canada, according to Cindy Harter Sims. People made

every effort to halt what they were doing in order to give Jim Stanley a chance to receive their gratitude.
What a wonderful act of compassion and love it was for pupils from decades ago to come back and say goodbye to a committed teacher.
