Personal, close friendships are priceless. A good, trustworthy, caring, and loving human being or animal companion cannot be measured in monetary terms.

Our friends root for us to do well and be content. When we feel life is getting too much, our

friends are there to help us pick ourselves back up. The only motivation for those exceptional individuals is love.

Young Ally has a special bond with Whiskey, a golden retriever. Furthermore, it’s the cutest couple you’ve ever seen.

Ally and Whiskey’s bond over the course of several years is chronicled in a video uploaded to YouTube.

Whiskey initially appears in the video assisting Ally’s parents with her care. The dog repeatedly brings over the child’s blanket.

As the video illustrates, Whiskey quickly developed a protective attitude around infant Ally.

He’d get in bed next to her and keep a close eye on the baby. Whether she was on the floor or the couch, he’d find a way to snuggle up close to her.

The golden retriever cared so much about the kid’s hygiene that it barked when he saw dirt. Whiskey

liked to lick her toes and feet all the time. He merely wanted to double-check that Ally’s parents hadn’t forgotten anything.

The video explains that as Ally matured, her connection with Whiskey evolved. Ally started giving Whiskey the same loving attention she had received.

Ally’s habit of throwing unwanted food on the floor for Whiskey to eat was hysterical. I’m sure this was a welcome change for Whiskey.

Ally now walks her closest friend around the neighborhood and even feeds Whiskey, or at least tries to.

Ally’s mother narrates the brief 3-minute clip and expresses her confidence that her daughter will benefit much from the friendship she has forged with Whiskey.

She was confident that her daughter, Ally, would develop into a caring, generous adult. To quote, ‘And we owe that to Whiskey.’

These two have found lifelong friendship.
