It’s nice that the former host of TODAY’s show happily revealed her first encounter with her grandchild on Instagram.

She rocked the infant to sleep while singing Amazing Grace, and she was surprised to see him fall asleep a short while later.

As a brand-new grandma, Kathie is doing an amazing job. She made Frank Michael Gifford known to the public.

It is one of her two grandchildren from her son Cody, whom she had with her late husband, Frank Gifford.

Erika, Cody’s wife, said on Instagram that they named their kid Frank and Michael, her late uncle, in honor of two courageous, strong men in their lives.

It’s a lovely nod to them and to have them recalled throughout time. But what’s even better than that, you ask? Little Frankie looks a lot like his grandfather.

The image of a younger Frank Gifford holding a football was shared by Erika, and the following image was of Frankie holding a football plushie.

We have no doubt that when he is older, this little man will look absolutely stunning!

The photographs of Frankie as a baby that Erika and Kathie posted have left people speechless.

They’ve been organizing a weekly event called #FrankieFridays, where they share updates on Frankie’s progress every Friday by posting or featuring a photo of him.

It could be significant events like the first time he took a bath (and enjoyed it!) or little but equally important ones like making his parents happy.

Kathie Lee Gifford, on the other hand, loves being a grandmother.

She stated that she had been waiting to become a grandma for a very long time in an interview with Access Hollywood from back in 2019.

She spends as much time with Frankie as she can now that the time has finally come.

I believe that Kathie is attracted to him because of how much he resembles Frank, aside from the fact that he is the grandmother of the young child.

They just recently celebrated his first birthday, and day by day, the similarities become more obvious.

Kathie included a sweet picture of Frankie strapped into his car seat wearing a collared shirt in her birthday post.

The pleased grandmother also included a brief prayer of thanksgiving for this lovely present in her birthday greeting.

Frankie has ‘the Gifford eyes,’ which give him a Cody and Frank-like appearance, according to the comments that poured in on her post.

Being a grandmother to young Frankie would be something Kathie would appreciate.

Even though he is just a year old, he has already brought them great delight.

We eagerly anticipate seeing the youngster mature and, hopefully, live up to the two powerful, decent men he was named after.
