All people who are lucky enough to have pets know how strong our bond with them can be. That is why many devote their entire lives to saving the animals they love so much.

One day, Kevin Richardson was given the opportunity to help two animals in distress which he did.

And in this video, filmed on July 1, 2016, Kevin’s meeting with two adult lions is captured the same ones that he once saved when they were very small.

Most people will be scared and will not approach two cubs. Kevin, however, was not afraid to do this, and took Meg and Amy, that’s what these lions are called, to a safe place.

Thanks to his brave act, the lives of these royal animals were saved, and seven years later, Kevin decided to visit his wards, who by that time had already become adult lions.

After being rescued, the cubs had to learn how to survive on their own in the wild. After all, at that moment they were very small and did not know how to take care of themselves.

Rescuers did everything possible to help these animals grow up and learn how to survive without human help.

Fortunately, they succeeded, so it’s not surprising that Kevin was a little worried about how these feral animals would meet him.

After all, many years had passed since their last meeting, and he was not sure if they would know his.

Kevin, however, found the strength to cope with his fear and, without allowing himself a moment’s hesitation, approached the lions.

The moment of the meeting was captured on a GoPro camera, which was mounted on the belly of one of the animals,

thanks to which we all now have the opportunity to get acquainted with these unique shots. Kevin wanted the moment of their meeting to stay with him forever.

Both lions, along with the camera, roamed the African savannah and even swam in the river.

Kevin decided to join them, but then lost sight of the lions for a second. As it turned out, one of them ducked down at that moment,

as if he was going to hunt! And what followed after that, at first you can’t even believe it – you have to see it for yourself!

As it turned out, the lions perfectly remembered Kevin, and the moment of their reunion can move you to tears!

These stunning images show that strong bonds of friendship can bind a person even with wild animals.
