A woman in her 76 proves to the whole world that people of her age should not be told: ‘Don’t wear this…

Candace Leslie Sima, despite her 76 years of age, actively maintains a page on TikTok. Almost 100 thousand people subscribed to it.

The woman inspires her peers and subscribers, proving that you can be interested in fashion and dress stylishly even at such an advanced age.

Candace Leslie Seema, born in Buffalo, New York, writes on her website that she became interested in the aging process at a young age.

And she never understood why society has a negative attitude towards such a natural process for a person.

The businesswoman writes that she previously owned and managed a residential complex for the elderly for more than 32 years.

And these years have given her a broad understanding of how different people age. A few years ago, a woman wanted to find out if people of her age were interested in fashion.

It turned out that there are very few of them. And Candace decided to change the attitude in society towards aging.

‘We are not our mothers and not our grandmothers. We now have the opportunity to be productive, smart, stylish women even in old age, ‘writes Candice.

She has created social media accounts, including TikTok. In her @lifeinmy70s account, the woman regularly shares her impressions of her life,

and also gives advice on how to dress stylishly and what hairstyles you can do when you are over 60+.

In one video, Candace stated that she noticed one stereotype about older people. ‘On the covers of fashion magazines,

we always see headlines like ‘How to look better in your 20s, 30s or 40s.’ And we never see 50, 60 and 70 years.’

The blogger is sure that the best way to promote the beauty of aging is to be yourself. And dress the way your heart desires.

For example, last year Candace posted a clip (7.5 million views) of a woman strutting around in an elegant sleeveless top paired with pale blue pants, strappy sandals and oversized sunglasses.

The video contains the text: “You are 60! You can’t wear it.’ (It is these phrases that trolls often say or write to older

ladies who do not want to turn into typical grandmothers). And at the end of the video, Candice takes off her sunglasses and the phrase appears: ‘Actually, I’m 75.’

Under the clip, Internet users left hundreds of comments in support of the brave woman: ‘I just got goosebumps, this is the queen’, ‘Thanks to you I am no longer afraid to grow old.’

Candice takes on the trolls advising people her age to dress appropriately by constantly posting videos

of her wearing a variety of outfits: pants, leggings, skinny jeans, and her favorite plunging one-piece swimsuit.

Many users admire her creative approach to combining fashion items. They are delighted that at this age this woman looks beautiful and wears what she likes.

And they take note of her example, because Candace Leslie Sima once again proved to everyone that age is just a number in the passport.

And aging is a natural and beautiful process. And women need to accept the changes in their body and look at them positively.

Nevertheless, the opinion is still firmly rooted in society that people over 50-60 years old should absolutely not wear stylish youth outfits,

bright swimsuits, and even more so a bikini. Even Paulina Porizkova, the 57-year-old former supermodel, recently caught a wave of hate after she posted a photo in a bikini.
